Families. The bigger, the better! Extended family sessions at times can be a little overwhelming. Full disclosure, I am TERRIBLE at remembering names, so stick me in a large family setting and you can be sure I will forget at least one name, (I apologize in advance)! Despite all that, extended family sessions are some of my favourite sessions! I love watching how a family interacts with each other, how cousins play and how adult siblings can still play around like it was the good ol’ days!
This summer, I had the pleasure of document some amazing families! Each one was so loving, kind and and had their own dynamics. When I work with extended families I like to play around with the group as a whole but then I like to break apart each individual family grouping and do a little “mini session” with each of them. Every family is unique, which means there are often times different grouping requests, ones that I never would have thought of but make sense for that family and I am all ears! These sessions are meant to be exactly what you want!
