I knew she was good based on what I saw on her Instagram but the result was still far and above what I could have hoped for. Haylee - Every family photo session I’m always the last to get ready, I’m always making sure everyone else looks their best or how they would like to be seen. Myself on the other hand never gets to look how I want, by the time we start the photos I am already sweating, my hairs a mess and the outfit I threw on was not my first choice. I always look “fine” If you haven’t already I highly recommend a personal photo shoot with Larissa. At first I felt silly and awkward, but she had portable music, amazing direction, and was honestly just so much fun! I got to wear what I wanted, my hair was done nice and I had no one else to be preoccupied with. She kept insisting that I was beautiful and stunning. I thought she was exaggerating until I got the gallery of my photos and I was absolutely blown away. I haven’t seen myself in that light in a very long time. I had forgotten what I actually had looked like, on the outside and inside. She captured me exactly how I am. Beautiful. I would recommend that everyone do this. It was certainly eye opening and I am very grateful for this time with Larissa.

She has the uncanny ability to almost bend light to her will - being able to both delicately and dramatically light her photos with just good old natural light. The landscapes Larissa shoots in are breathtaking and full of whimsy. You will feel like a Vogue model on location with one of these personal sessions, except you won't feel intimidated and will be completely at ease with Larissa. She has a good 'bed side manor' if that's appropriate to say, and even brings along music of your choice to have in the background. The whole experience will leave you feeling special and empowered. It's important to treat oneself every now and then, especially in the world we find ourselves living in right now. Self care comes in many different forms and you won't regret having professional photos taken by Larissa for one second! You deserve it :)
Haley - We booked Larissa for a family session first - she was so easy to work with, encouraging, and had an amazing ability to judge the lighting so that the photos turned out beautiful. We are so happy with how they turned out - she captured everything from the landscapes in behind us, to some personal moments between family members, and photos that look natural, not posed and structured. We had a toddler running around the whole time "untamed" as well- and those turned out to be some of the best photos!! She works really well with kids and had my daughter smiling ear to ear. I later booked her for a personal session after seeing some of the photos she took of another mom like myself. I thought she did an amazing job, and after hearing the other testimonial, I was convinced that it would be something I could do for myself to boost my confidence. This session felt so good for me - not only is Larissa an amazing photographer, but she was so supportive, and helped me get comfortable in my own skin - and it really showed up in the gallery. The session was so FUN, and uplifting. I highly recommend Larissa for both personal and family sessions!

Casey & Rory - I hired Larissa to do our wedding photos in July 2020. I would recommend her services to anyone! For me, the photos are what we will be looking back on in years to come, so I wanted to make sure I made the best choice. I was a little worried about the price at first, as we were doing our wedding for as cheap as possible. However, I fully believe that you get what you pay for, and Larissa is worth every penny. She went above and beyond! I felt instantly comfortable after speaking to her on the phone. Larissa is very friendly and professional. Neither my husband nor I have ever gotten professional photos before and both of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Larissa is extremely organized but also very flexible. She engaged with each guest at our wedding and was fantastic with the kids. We had a lot of laughs and I couldn’t have been happier with the service that Larissa provided. I also gave her the challenge of shooting our photos at a hard time of day (just before noon the sun is pretty harsh) however, I am so in love with all of our pictures... She came very prepared with music and a ladder to our outdoor shoot and was fun but super professional. We liked how she gave us direction and was able to get the job done in under an hour and a half. 5 stars!!!

Kristen - Larissa did my maternity photos and also my baby photos. She is professional, organized, and very talented. I was a bit uncomfortable having my maternity photos taken, and Larissa made me feel at ease and beautiful. During the baby shoot, my daughter was fussy and was making the experience stressful.
