Kosheiff Family | Extended Fall Session, Trail B.C. | West Kootenay Family Photographer

If you follow my instagram account you might remember me talking about this extended family session and how it needed to be blogged because it was just so darn cute! Well here it is! This beautiful family gathered together back in October to celebrate a very exciting event, a retirement! Which is why everyone was under one roof on this particular weekend and when everyone is under one roof family photos are a must! I love capturing extended families, each family grouping gets their own mini session, and grandparents get to have their photo taken with those adorable grand babies! Not to mention the last time family photos were taken (in most cases) was probably when the now grandparents children were just little! You know, back in the Sears Portraits days! At least that’s the case for my own family! The Kosheiff family was such a pleasure to work with, and had the most perfect fall backdrop in their own backyard with those beautiful birch trees and golden leaves. Towards the end of the session it started to rain a little so we made our way inside to capture a few more of the kids being kids and playing with some toys…toys at grandma and grandpas are always so much more interesting than the ones at home after all!
