Baby Vale! Oh, how I love your name! It is so sweet, yet so regal! I was so incredibly excited when I found out Courtney had given birth to a baby girl! No, it wasn’t because now she had her boy and girl, it was because I had bins upon bins of baby girl clothes in my basement that I desperately wanted to pass on. I couldn’t bring myself to just get rid of them or sell them, after all most of it was given to me or hand-me-downs anyways. No, these adorable baby girl clothes needed to go to someone I knew would love them and little Vale was the girl!
I cannot believe it has already been 5 months since we swaddled Vale for her first photo session! Time sure does fly, especially when you have little ones, it is so special to be able to capture newborns within the first couple weeks, since they change so much, so fast!
Courtney, reached out to me a couple days after she was born and asked me to come over to their home to capture their new baby girl. It was a shoot just for her, featuring her big brother Roland. Courtney didn’t have a “vision” for the shoot, which I kinda love, since it gives total freedom to try anything. Vale was a trooper throughout the majority of the process and her big brother could not wait to get in there with his little sis and show her lots of love!
