Andrea + Brandon | An Intimate Backyard Wedding | Castelgar B.C. | West Kootenay Wedding Photographer

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, small intimate weddings are my absolute favourite! Spending time with a couple in love with their closest family and friends is beyond special. Andrea and Brandon put together the most perfect backyard wedding just 4 short months ago. The details went above and beyond and had a new age, rustic flare with beautiful wildflower centre pieces. My day with Andrea and Brandon started off at Zuckerberg Island. It was here, by that adorable little house that they first saw each other. Directly after that we moved into family photos and spent a little extra time capturing Andrea, Brandon and their adorable baby girl before going into wedding party formals. We explored the leaf covered paths and made our way down to the water. Andrea wore the most perfect flowy wedding dress and cathedral length veil which was so much fun to have her play with and the wind kept picking it up with perfection!

Once we wrapped up with formals we made our way back to their home for the ceremony and reception. I had been out to their home 6 months prior to capture newborn photos and let me tell you that back yard had been transformed! These two did an AMAZING job, I was absolutely floored! Everything about the ceremony, location and people was absolute perfection. I am so grateful that this job connects me to so many wonderful people I would not have had the chance to meet otherwise.
